The correct Answer is:
B

Moderate increase in the amount of microutrients causes toxicity. Toxicity levels for any element also vary for different plants. Many times, excessof an element may inhibit the uptake of another element. For example, the promient sympton of manganess toxicity is the apperarance of brown spots surrounded by chlorotic veins. Manganese competes with iron and magnesium for uptake and with magnesium with for binding with enzymes. manganese also of manganese may induce deficiencies of iron, magnesium and calcuim.

Toxicicity of manganese in aplant result in a. Brown spot surrounded by chlorotic venis, b. Increases in uptake of Fe, c. Inhabition of Ca translocation in shoot apex

A plant exhibits the appearance of brown spots surrounding by chlorotic veins. When inspected in more detail , it is observed that its calcium translocation to the shoot is also disrupted. The plant is showing toxicity of

(a) Moderate decrease of increase on micronutrients causes deficiency and toxicaity symptoms respectively. (b) Excess of manganese causes toxicity of iron calcium and molybdenum. (c ) A macronutrients said to be toxic when present below a critical concentration.

A : Maganese toxicity cause brown spots ,chlorotic veins and inhibintion of calcium translocation to shoot apex. R : Toxic effects may be due to direct excess of micronutrients or its interference in the absorbtion and functioning of other nutrients.
