One man and 2 boys can do a piece of work in 12 days. The same work can also be done by 3 men and 1 boy in 6 days. How long it would take for one man alone to complete the work?

`1m+2b=1/12-(1)`
`3m+b=1/6-(2)`
from equation 1 and 2
`5m=1/2-1/3=1/4`
`m=1/20`
1 man take 20 days to complete the work on time.
