If 9^(x+2)=720+9^x , find the value of (...

If `9^(x+2)=720+9^x` , find the value of `(4x)^(1/x)`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`9^(x+2)=720+9^x`
`9^(x)xx9^2=720+9^x`
`9^(x)\(9^2-1)=720`
`9^(x)xx80=720`
`9^x=9^1`
As the bases are same, equating the powers
Therefore,`x=1`
Therefore,
`(4x)^(1/x)=(4xx1)=4`
