Explanation

(i)`2^(x-7)xx5^(x-4)=1250`

`2^(x-7)xx5^(x-4)=2^1xx5^4`
on comparing both side we have

`x-7=1`and `x-4=4` so `x=8`

(ii) `(4)^(2x+1/2)=1/(32)`

`(2)^(2(2x+1/2))=1/(2)^5`
on comparing both side we have

`4x+1=-5`
`x=(-3/2)`
