Given that sqrt(5)=2. 236 approximately,...

Given that `sqrt(5)=2. 236` approximately, find the three places of decimals the value of `2/(sqrt(5))`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given :
`2/(sqrt(5))`
Multiplying the numerator and denominator of the given number by `sqrt5`
i.e,
`2/(sqrt(5))=2/(sqrt(5))xxsqrt5/sqrt5`
`=(2sqrt5)/5=(2xx2.236)/5=0.895`
