If sqrt(2)=1. 414 find the value of sqrt...

If `sqrt(2)=1. 414` find the value of `sqrt(3)\/ sqrt(6)` upto three places of decimals.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Solution:
`sqrt(3)/sqrt(6) = sqrt(3)/sqrt(3 xx 2) = sqrt(3) xx sqrt(3) xx sqrt(2)`
`= 1/sqrt(2) xx (sqrt(2) / sqrt(2))`........(By multiplying the numerator and the denominator by `sqrt2`)
`=>sqrt2/2`
`=>1.414/2`
`=>0.707`
Hence the answer is`0.707`
