An angle is equal to 8 times its complement. Determine its measure.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given that, Angle = `8` times of its complement.
Let x be a complement angle.
Thus, the angle measure should be `8x`
We know that the sum of complementary angle is `90^@`.
Hence, `x+8x = 90^@
9x = 90^@`
`x = 10^@`.
