The measure of an angle is twice the measure of its supplementary angle. Find its measure.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Supplementary angles sum up to `180^@`.
Supplement = `180^@` - angle measure.
So, if the measure of the angle is `x`, the measure of its supplement is `2x`.
Therefore, `x + 2x = 180^@`
`3x = 180^@`
`x = 60^@`
Angle =` 60^@` and it's supplement = `120^@`.
