As we know, when a line cuts the parallel lines, the pair of alternate interior angles are equal. `∠1 = ∠3 = 85°`
Again, co-interior angles are supplementary, so `∠2 + ∠3 = 180°`
` ∠2 + 55° = 180° `
`∠2 = 180° – 85°`
` ∠2 = 95°`
