Prove that two lines perpendicular to the same line are parallel to each other.

If a transversal cuts two lines and if the sum of the corresponding angles are equal, then the two given lines are parallel to each other.
In the given case, Both the lines are perpendicular to the transversal.
So, the corresponding angles are equal to `90` degrees.
Hence, both the given lines are parallel to each other.
