If the angles of a triangle are in the ratio `1:2:3,` determine three angles.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Solution:
The ratio of the angles of a triangle = `1:2:3`
Let the angles of a triangle be `x,2x`and `3x`
`x +2x +3x=180^@`...(Total angle of a triangle is `180^@`)
`6x = 180^@`
`x =180^@/6`
`x = 30^@`
`2x =2 × 30^@` = `60^@`
`3x=3×30^@=90^@`
Measures of the angles of a triangle =`30^@, '60^@ and90^@`
