The decomposition of hydrogen peroxide `(H_2O_2)` into water and oxvgcn takes place slowly at room temperature.
(ii) However, hydrogen peroxide decomposes rapidly in the presence of manlanese dioxide `(MnO_2)` powder. which acts as catalysct.
iii. Thus. by adding manganese dioxide `(ManO_2)` powder, the rate of chemical reaction can be increased.
