Yes, this feeling is related to our body temperature.
i. When an object has temperature higher than our body temperature, it gives sensation of hot to our body. Such object gives off heat energy to our body.
ii . When an object has temperature lower than our body temperature, it gives sensation of cold to our body. Such object absorbs heat energy given off from our body.
