If the current of 2 A flows in the clockwise direction,
`E gt 20 V`
`therefore E-20=2xx6+3xx2=18`
`therefore E=38 V`
But if the current of 2 ?A flows in the anticlockwise direction, then `20 V gt E`
`therefore 20-E=2xx6+3xx1=18`
`therefore E=2V`
