The correct Answer is:
C
It appears at the first sight that `Me_(2)SiCl_(2)` on hydrolysis will produce `Me_(2)Si(OH)_(2)` which utlimately upon loss of water, will form `Me_(2)Si=O`. But silicon atom, because of its very large size in comparison to oxygen , is unable to form `pi`-bond. thus, the product of hydrolysis is polymeric in nature.
