Benzyl amine `(C_(6)H_(5)-CH_(2)NH_(2) i.e., aliphatic amine.) with`-NH_(2)` group in the side chain behaves like alkyl amines (aliphatic amines) which are more basic as compared with aryl amines which are stabilised due to resonance. On attachement of electron attractive group. basic character is decreased so benzyl amine is more basic in these amines.
