Primary oocyte. By meiosis first division, gives rise to two unequal sized cells. Larger of these two cells is known as secondary oocyte and smaller one is known as first. Polar body, again gives rise to two newqual sized cells. Larger of these two is known as ovum (functionl female gamete) and smaller one is second polary body. Sometimes, firt polar body also divides sidultaneously with seoconday oocyte and gives rise to two polar bodies.
Thus, in complete oogenesis, three polar bodies and one functionl female gemete of ouvm though a meiotic division is formed.
