Since `AD` is the median of `/_\ABC.`
`:. ar(/_\ABD =(/_\ ADC)`
`ar(/_\ABD)= 1/2ar(/_\ABC)......(1)`
In `/_\ ABD`,
`BE` is the median,
`ar(/_\BED)= ar(/_\BAE)`
`ar(/_\BED)=1/2 ar(ABD)`
`ar(/_\BED)=1/2 xx 1/2 ar (/_\ABC)`
From eq `(1)`
`=ar(/_\BED)=1/4 ar(/_\ABC)`
Hence proved.
