As we know that if a triangle and a parallelogram are on the same base and between the same parallels, the area of triangle is equal to half area of parallelogram.
Area (`triangleABP`) = Area (`triangleASB`) ______1
Area (`triangleARQ`) = Area (`triangleARB`) ____2
Now, Area(`triangleASR`)=area(`triangleASB`)+area(`triangleARB`)
area(`triangleABP`)=area(`triangleARQ`)
area(`trianglePBQ`)
=`17cm^2`
Hence, area of (`triangleASR`) is `17cm^2`.
