Now we can write `BD=DC`
So, `ar(triangleABD)=ar(triangleACD)`
`therefore` area of triangle = `1/2xx`base`xx`height

or `1/2xxCDxxh`
So, median of a triangle divides it into two equal areas.
Hence, option(d) is correct.
