Draw line segment of length `6. 6\ c mdot` Bisect it and measure the length of each part.

STEPS OF CONSTRUCTION 1. Draw a line segment AB of length 6.6cm.
2. Now take compass with pencil and take radius more than half the length of AB.
3. Taking A and B as center and the radius given above cut an arc on both sides of AB.
4. Mark the points at which these arcs meet as x and y.
5. Join x to y.
