Given that 1 cubic cm of marble weighs 0.25 kg, the weight of marble block 28cm in width and 5cm thick is 112kg. Find the length of the block.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Let the length of the block be l
Given, height of `1cm^3` of marble = 0.25 kg
Height of marble block which is 25cm in width and 5cm thick =112 kg
`lxx28xx5xx0.25=112`
`l=112/(28xx5xx0.25)`
`l=3.2 cm`
