The external dimensions of a closed wooden box are 48cm, 36cm, 30cm. The box is made of 1.5cm thick wood. How many bricks of size `6c m\ x\ 3c m\ x\ 0. 75 c m` can be put in this box?

External dimensions of wooden box = `48xx36xx30` cm
Dimensions of brick=`6xx3xx0.75` cm
Given, Thickness of wood= 1.5 cm
Internal dimensions of box = 48 – (2×1.5) × 36 – (2×1.5) × 30 – (2×1.5)
= (45 × 33 × 27) cm
Now, Number of bricks can be put in box = `(internal volume of box / volume of one brick)`
`(45 × 33 × 27) / (6 × 3 × 0.75)`
`2970` bricks
