Water flows out through a circular pipe whose internal diameter is 2cm, at the rate of 6 metres per second into a cylindrical tank. The water is collected in a cylindrical vessel radius of whose base is 60cm. Find the rise in the level of water in 30 minutes?

Diameter of pipe = `2cm`
So, `r=2/2 cm` = `1cm`
`r=1/100` = `0.01m`
Length of flow of water in 1 second = `6m`
Length of flow of water in 30 minutes = `6xx30xx60` = `10800m`
`therefore` Volume of water = `pir^2h`
Volume of water = `22/7xx0.01^2xx10800 m^3`
Volume of water in tank = `2376/700 m^3`
