A conical vessel whose internal radius is 5 cm and height 24cm is full of water. The water is emptied into a cylindrical vessel with internal radius 10cms. Find the height to which the water rises.

Given that
radius of a conical vessel is `=5 cm`
height `=24 cm`
it is full of water . so,
volume of water `= (1/3)pir^2h`
`= (1/3)(25)(24)pi`
now , The water is emptied into a cylindrical vessel .
radius of cylindrical vessel `=10 cm`
now the height of water in cylindrical vessel `=[(1/3)(25)(24)pi]/pir^2`
`=2 cm`
