A right triangle `A B C` with its dies 5cm, 12cm and 13cm is revolved about the side 12cm. Find the volume of the solid so formed. If the triangle `A B C` is revolved about side 5cm, then find the volume of the solid so obtained. Find also the ratio of the volumes of the two solids obtained.

when triangle is revolved along `12 cm` side
`r=5 cm`
`h=12 cm`
volume `=(1/3)pir^2h`
`=314 cm^3`
now the triangle`ABC`is revolved about side 5cm.
`r=12 cm`
`h=5 cm`
then volume `=(1/3)pir^2h`
`=753.6 cm^3`
now the ratio is
`[(1/3)pir^2h]/(1/3)pir^2h`
`5:12`
