Find the capacity in litres of a conical vessel with (i) radius 7 cm, slant height 25 cm (ii) height 12 cm, slant height 13 cm

(i) given radius`r= 7 cm`& slant height `l=25 cm`
so `h=(l^2-r^2)^(1/2)`
`h=(25^2-7^2)^(1/2)`
`h=24cm`
so volume `=(1/3)pi(r^2)h`
`=(1/3)pi(7^2)24`
`=1232cm^3`
(ii) height `h=12 cm`& slant height`l= 13 cm`
