A hemispherical bowl made of brass has inner diameter 10.5cm. Find the cost of tinplating it on the inside at the rate of Rs. 4 per `100\ c m^2`

Inner diameter, `d=10.5cm`
Inner Radius, `r=10.5/2cm`
Surface area = `2pir^2`
S.A=`2xx22/7xx(10.5/2)^2`
S.A=`173.25cm^2`
Cost of tin plating= Rs. `4/100xx173.25`=Rs. `6.93`
Hence, cost of tin-plating is Rs. `6.93`.
