A hemispherical bowl has inner diameter 11.2cm. Find the volume of milk it can hold.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Inner diameter of hemispherical bowl, `d=11.2cm`
So, Inner radius, `r=11.2/2`=`5.6cm`
Volume of hemispherical bowl =`2/3pir^3`
=`2/3xx22/7xx5.6^3`
=`367.96cm^3`
Hence, Volume of bowl is `367.96cm^3`.
