In a sphere is inscribed in a cube, find the ratio of the volume of cube to the volume of the sphere.

Text Solution

Let the length of side of cube be `a.`
`V1 =a^3`(Volume of cube)
Now, Length of side of cube = Diameter of the sphere `=a`
Hence, Radius of sphere `= a/2`
`V2 =(4/3pi)a^3/8`(Volume of sphere)
ration of `(V1)/(V2)=(a^3xx3xx8)/4xxpixxa^3=6/pi`
