Numbers of children in 10 families of a locality are: `2, 4, 3, 4, 2, 0, 3, 5, 1, 1, 5`
Mean= Sum of Observations/No. of observations
Mean`=(2+4+3+4+2+3+5+1+1+5)/10`
`=30/10=3`
∴ Mean number of children per family=`3`
