A transition metal form alloys with other transition elements . Explain

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
Transition metals form a large number of alloys. The transition metals are quire similar in size and, therefore ,the stoms of one metal can substitute the atoms of other metal in its cystal lattice. Thus, on cooling a mixture solution of two or more transition metals, solid allouys are formed.
