The alternating-current gain is
The collector-current is
`i_(C)=("voltage-drop across collector resistor")/("resistance")=(0.5V)/(800Omega)xx10^(-3)A`.
But `beta=(i_(C))/(i_(B))`, where `i_(B)` is base-current.
`:. i_(B)=(i_(C))/(beta)=(0.625xx10^(-3)A)/(24)=26xx10^(-6)A=26muA`.
