Let the initial pressure and volume be `P_(1) and V_(1)` and final pressure and volume be `P_(2) and V_(2)`.
percentage change in pressure `=(P_(2)-P_(1))/(P_(1))xx100=100`
`P_(2)-P_(1)=P_(1)`
`P_(2)=2P_(1)`
Applying boyle's law
`P_(1)V_(1)=P_(2)V_(2)`
`P_(1)V_(1)=2P_(1)V_(2)`
`V_(2)=(V_(1))/(2)`
Change in volume `=(V_(2)-V_(1))=(V_(1))/(2)`
Percentage change `=((V_(1))/(2))/(V_(1))xx100=50%`
