Two earth satellites `A` and `B`, each of mass `m` are to be launched into circular orbits about earth's centre at altitudes `6400 km` and `19200 km`, respectively. The radius of earth is `6400 km`. Find (i) the ratio of potential energy of `B` to that of `A`, (ii) ratio of kinetic energy of `B` to that of `A` and (iii) which one has greater total energy?

Two satellites A and B of the same mass revolve around the earth in circular orbits. They are at heights of R and 3R respectively from the surface of the earth (R=radius of the earth). Find the ratio of their kinetic energies and potential energies.

Two satellites A and B of the same mass are orbiting the earth at altitudes R and 3R respectively, where R is the radius of the earth. Taking their orbit to be circular abtain the ratios of their kinetic and potential energies.
