Find the number of terms in the expansions of the following: `(2x-3y)^9`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

As we know
Number of dissimilar terms in the expansion of
`(x_1+x_2+x_3+......+x_r)^n is \ ^(n+r−1)(C_n)`
So in `(2x-3y)^9` we have `r=2` and `n=9`
So according to formula
`=>\ ^(9+3-1) C_9`
`=>\ ^11 C_9`
