Write down the equation of the following lines:  A line parallel to x-axis at a distance of 3 units below x-axis.

The equation of a line parallel to the x axis is y=c....(1)
Given that the distance of the line (1) form x axis is 3 units.
Then we have c=3
So the equation of the line is y=3, so k=3
