Write the locus of a point the sum of whose distances from the coordinates axis is unity.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

It is given that the sum of distances of (h, k) from the coordinate axis is unity.
`:.`` |h| + |k| = 1 `
Taking locus of (h, k), we get
` |x| + |y| = 1`
Hence, this represents a square
