Evaluate the following limit: `lim_(x->-1)(x^3+1)/(x+1)`

Given limit: `lim_(x->-1)(x^3+1)/(x+1)`
`l=lim_(x->-1)(x^3-(-1)^3)/(x-(-1))`
`lim_(x->a)(x^n-a^n)/(x-a) = n*a^(n-1)`
so, using this formula
`l= lim_(x->-1)(x^3-(-1)^3)/(x-(-1))`
`=3(-1)^2`
`=3`
