Let y=(x+cosx​ )/tanx………….(1)
differentiating equation (1) wrt x we get
`(dy/dx)​=(d/dx)​(x+cosx​)/(tanx)`
`(dy/dx)​=(tanx(1−sinx)−sec^2x(x+cosx))/(tanx)^2`
​ `(dy/dx)​=(1−sinx)/tanx​−((secx)/(tanx)​)^2(x+cosx).`
