Condom, made of thin rubber or latex, is used to cover the penis in the male just before coitus so that ejaculated semen (sperms) does not enter into the female reproductive tract. Diaphragms cervical caps and vaults are also made of rubber and are inserted into the female reproductive tract to cover the cervix during coitus. Thet prevent conception by blocking the entry of sperms through the cervix.
