A laser (light amplification by stimulated emission of radition ) provides a coherent (in phase) monochoramtic source of high intensity light . Lasers are used in eye surgery,CD/DV players basic research etc. Some modern eye lasers can be "tuned" to emit a desired wavelenght . The following table shows the lambda=(nm),v(s^(-1)) and E(J) but some of the date missing : [Take E(ev)=(1240)/lambda_(nm)] {:("Leser No.",lambda("nm"),v(s^(-1)),"Energy (J)"),("I",A,5xx10^(-14),B),("II",487.9,C,D),("III",E,F,3.2xx10^(-19)):} Which of the following statements(s) is /are correct? Which of the following statements regarding eutrophication are correct ? (i) Eutrophication is the natural ageing of a lake by nutrient enrichment of its water. (ii) Pollutants from human activities like effluents from the industries and homes can radically accelerate the aging process of a lake. This phenomenon is called as cultural or accelerated eutrophication. (iii) The plant nutrients responsible for eutrophication are nitrates and phosphates. (iv) These phosphates and nitrates accelerate the growth of algae, which utilise oxygen and may deoxygenate the water to kill the fish and other aquatic animals.

Which of the following statements about cell junctions are correct ? (i) All the cells of the epithelium are held together with little intercellular materials (ii) In almost all animal tissues specialised junctions provide both structural and functional link between their individual cells (iii) Tight junctions prevent substances from leaking across a tissue (iv) Adhering junctions provide cementing to keep neighbouring cells together (v) Gap junction provide cytoplasmic channels between cells for passage of ions, small molecules and sometimes big molecules.

IV. Winnowing is used to separate husk and hay from grains.

Read the following statements and choose the correct answer. (i) Gap junctions cement adjacent cells together. (ii) Areolar tissue contains fibroblasts , macrophages and mast cells. (iii) Tight junctions facilitate the cells to communicate with each other (iv) Adhering junctions help to stop substances from leaking across tissues (v) Cells of connective tissue except blood secrete fibres of structural proteins called elastin.
