Find whether f: Z->Z given by f(x)=x^2+1...

Find whether `f: Z->Z` given by `f(x)=x^2+1` for all `x in Z`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given `f(x)=x^2+1` here as we know that x is an integer so square of integer is
also an integer this `x^2` is also an integer.
Similarly `1` is and integer and the function as a whole
is a integer as sum of two integer is an integer .
Thus given statement is True
