Write the value of cos^(-1)(cos(5pi)/4) ...

Write the value of `cos^(-1)(cos(5pi)/4)` .

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given,
`cos^(-1)(cos(5pi)/4)`
`=>cos(pi+pi/4)=−cos(pi)/4=cosθ`
`=>cosθ=(-1)/(sqrt(2)) `
So,
`theta=3(pi)/4`
