What is the total number of `2xx2` matrices with each entry 0 or 1?

In `2 times 2` matrix, the total number of elements are `4`.
Each element of row and column can be replaced with either `1` or `0`.
Thus, there are `2` ways of filling all elements with `1` or `0`.
Thus the total number of matrices will be `2 times 2 times 2 times 2` = `2^4=16` matrices.

`therefore` The number of possible matrix of `2 times 2` order with each entry as `0` or `1=16`.
