and `(A+B)^2=A^2+B^2`
Then
`A+B=[(1,-1),( 2,-1)]+[(a,1),(b,-1)]=[(1+a,0),(2+b,-2)]`
`(A+B)^2=[(1+a,0),(2+b,-2)][(1+a,0),(2+b,-2)]`
`(A+B)^2=[(1+a^2+2a,0),(2+2a+b+ab-4-2b,4)]`
`(A+B)^2=[(a^2+2a+1,0),(2a-b+ab-2,4)]`
