Using determinants, find the area of the triangle whose vertices are `(5,\ 4)`,`(-2,\ 4), and \ \ (2,\ -6)` . Are the given points collinear?

We have given vertices of triangle ` (5,\ 4),\(-2,\ 4)` and ` (2,\ -6)`
Then we have to find area of triangle
Now as we know that
Area of triangle=`1/2|(x_1,y_1,1),(x_2,y_2,1),(x_3,y_3,1)|`
`=1/2|(-2,4,1),(2,-6,1),(5,4,1)|`
Now apply `R_2->R_2-R_1,R_3->R_3-R_1`
