`4 x+8 y=12`

`D=|[1 , 2],[ 4 , 8]|=8-8=0 `

`D_{1}=|[3 , 2],[ 12 , 8]|=24-24=0 `

Here, `D=D_1=D_2=0`

Therefore the given system has infinitely many solutions.
