Differentiate `5^3-x^2+(3-x^2)^5` with respect to `x` :

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given that,
`y=5^3-x^2+(3-x^2)^5`
Differentiating w.r.t `x` both sides
`frac{dy}{dx}=0-2x+5(3-x^2)^4 * frac{d}{dx}(3-x^2)`
`frac{dy}{dx}=-2x+5(3-x^2)^4 * (-2x)`
`frac{dy}{dx}=-2x(1+5(3-x^2)^4)`

Answer is: `frac{dy}{dx}=-2x(1+5(3-x^2)^4)`
