Show that f(x)=x^9+4x^7+11 is an increas...

Show that `f(x)=x^9+4x^7+11` is an increasing function for all `x in R` .

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

We have given
`f(x)=x^9+4x^7+11`
Then
`implies f'(x) = d/dx(x^9+4x^7+11)`
`implies f′(x)=9x^8+28x^6>=0` for all `x in R`
Hence, `f(x)` is increasing for all `x in R`
